Earl Thomas is the best football player on the Seattle Seahawks.  If there were an NFL draft of all football players in the NFL, Thomas would have to be in the top 10.  Both of these are facts; also a fact is that Earl Thomas has earned another selection to the Pro Bowl.

The 1st round pick out of Texas (14th overall), was a surprise pick. Most pundits had head coach Pete Carroll selecting his own former USC Trojan Taylor Mays to be the leader of his defense, instead, the All-American, Earl Thomas showed up on the draft board and wisely, Pete Carroll pulled the trigger.

In his 6th season, the former Longhorn has 64 tackles, 9 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, and 5 interceptions. Thomas didn’t have his 1st interception this year until week 5 versus Cincinnati.

Though in a losing effort, Earl picked off an Andy Dalton pass and returned it 100 yards for a presumed touchdown. Unfortunately, for the Seahawks there was an personal foul that negated the touchdown that would have assuredly put the Hawks in a position to win the game.

This is Earl’s 5th Pro Bowl selection (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and comes on the heels of being ranked the #21 best player in football by
