The Silvertip’s Connor Dewar scored four goals on the evening as Everett took a 6th consecutive victory from the Seattle Thunderbirds this season. The Silvertip’s win gives them their 37 game and at 76 points stand tall in the Western division. Saturday was another frenzied night in Everett as another sold out crowd packed the Angel of the Winds Arena. There is a sense in the air that this Tips team that lost Patrick Bajkov (Florida Panthers) and Carter Hart (Philadelphia Flyers) has found a way to reload and Tips fans are feeling that this could be are return to the Memorial Cup.

The 7-2 win was hard fought in the 1st period where a last minute goal by Dewar was the only scoring of the periods.  Then the floodgates opened as Dewar would pile on for his 33rd, 34th, and 35th goals of the season.

Dewar’s hat trick (plus 1) follows a hat trick by Bryce Kindopp on Friday night against the T-birds in Kent. Kindopp would get another goal on the evening for his 29th as he just barely trails Dewar. Bryce has scored 11 goals since January and has set a career best in goals scored.

Former Thunderbird Zack Andruisiak got revenge on his old team as he followed up on a Friday goal with an assist to Jake Christiansen on the Tips 3rd goal of the game. He has 8 goals since he came to Everett. His 35 goals are good enough to rank 3rd in the WHL.
