Now the games really count. The University of Washington Husky football team has completed the non-conference portion of their season
Seattle Mariners @ KC Royals Tuesday, September 22nd @ KC Royals 5:10 PST Hisashi Iwakuma (RHP) 8-4 vs. Jeremy Guthrie (RHP) 8-7 Wednesday, September 23rd vs LAA
The University of Washington Huskies got just what they needed last Saturday: a big win and some confidence. The Huskies
The Angels come to Seattle just 3.5 games out of the wildcard chase with just 2 weeks of the season remaining. The Mariners can play spoiler and end the season on a positive note with another series win.
King Felix has a decent chance of a 20 win season, but he’ll need to pick up a win in this series.
The big question of the offseason has been answered for Husky football: Jake Browning is the starting QB. Head Coach
The Ms come back to town for a 7 game homestand with a fancy 5 game winning streak. It’s late in the season, but the Mariners are within striking distance fo .500 and a little bit of respectability.
The Rangers have a lot to play for. Texas currently leads for the second wildcard by a tenuous 1.5 games. Expect the Ms to give the Rangers a tough series.
The long wait is over: the college football season is upon us. The second season of the Chris Petersen era
Despite being statisically better than Seattle at hitting and pitching, the As are the last place ALW team. So at least the Ms have that going for them.
Both teams are clearly in wind-down-the-schedule mode. Makes for great baseball.
